About the Event
This is a serious expedition to a high-altitude giant. Lenin Peak (7,134m) is not merely a mountain; it is a prolonged test of physical resilience and mental fortitude. Our 20-day itinerary is a meticulously crafted blueprint for success, built around the fundamental principle of gradual acclimatisation. We eschew speed for safety and sustainability, spending critical time at Advanced Base Camp (ABC) and conducting multiple forays to higher camps. This measured approach transforms your body to withstand the extreme altitude of the summit push. From the historic Silk Road hub of Osh to the summit's thin air, this journey is a profound commitment, offering the ultimate reward: standing on a pinnacle reserved for the world’s most determined climbers.
Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1
Arrival in Osh and hotel check-in
Your adventure begins with your arrival in Osh, Kyrgyzstan's second-largest city. Your guide will meet you at the airport, assist with hotel check-in, and help you prepare any necessary documents for the climb. The rest of the day will include a gear check to ensure you're fully equipped for the ascent.
Day 2
Day 2
Transfer to Base Camp (Achik-Tash)
We'll transfer to the Achik-Tash Base Camp, located at 3600 metres. The scenic drive takes approximately 6 hours in a comfortable minibus. The camp is fully equipped with electricity, mobile connectivity, and a buffet to make your stay as comfortable as possible before the climb.
Day 3
Day 3
Acclimatisation ascent
The first acclimatisation day involves a hike to either Petrovsky Peak (4000 m) or Traveller's Pass (4200 m). This trek provides stunning alpine views and helps prepare your body for higher altitudes. You'll return to Achik-Tash Base Camp for the night.
Day 4
Day 4
Trek to Advanced Base Camp (ABC)
We leave Achik-Tash Base Camp for two weeks and trek to Advanced Base Camp, situated at 4400 metres on the glacier. The main gear will be transported by horses, allowing you to hike with a lighter load. The 7-hour trek offers incredible views of Lenin Peak and the surrounding Pamir mountains. Advanced Base Camp provides three meals a day, and electricity is available via a generator in the evenings.
Day 5
Day 5
Snow and ice training
This day focuses on mastering essential mountaineering skills. On the glacier near camp, you'll learn: walking in crampons, using an ice axe, and navigating snow and ice terrain safely.
Day 6
Day 6
Ascent of Yuhina Peak (5100 m)
We'll make a non-technical acclimatisation climb to Yuhina Peak, located on the northern slopes of Lenin Peak. From the summit, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Alay Valley. We'll camp overnight in tents at the summit.
Day 7
Day 7
Descent to Advanced Base Camp
We'll return to Advanced Base Camp at 4400 metres for rest and preparation for the next stage.
Day 8
Day 8
Trek to Camp 1 (5300 m)
Our journey continues to Camp 1 at 5300 metres, crossing the infamous "Frying Pan"—a vast snow field surrounded by Lenin Peak's sunlit walls. The reflective glare of the snowfield makes this section a true test of endurance. Overnight in tents at Camp 1.
Day 9
Day 9
Trek to Camp 2 (6100 m) and ascent of Razdelnaya Peak (6148 m)
From Camp 1, we ascend to Camp 2 at 6100 metres. As part of our acclimatisation, we'll climb Razdelnaya Peak. This effort will help your body adjust to the altitude, ensuring a better night's rest. Overnight in tents at Camp 2.
Day 10
Day 10
Descent to Advanced Base Camp (ABC)
We'll descend 2000 metres back to Advanced Base Camp, where you can enjoy three hot meals and recharge for the final push.
Day 11-12
Day 11-12

These days are reserved for rest and light acclimatisation hikes around the camp. It's an opportunity to recover and prepare for the summit push.
Day 13
Day 13

We cross the "Frying Pan" again and spend the night at Camp 1 (5300 m).
Day 14
Day 14

What Makes This Trip Unique
The Gold Standard 7,000er: Lenin Peak is globally recognised as the premier introduction to extreme altitude, offering a (relatively) straightforward route to a summit over 7,000m.

The Siege Mentality: The long, rotation-based schedule is a pure expedition experience, teaching the patience, rhythm, and strategy required for the world’s highest peaks like Everest.

Pamir Isolation: The remote setting in the Kyrgyz Pamirs ensures a deeply authentic and unfiltered high-mountain adventure, free from commercial distractions.
